The brief
Drawn to be built.
builtbyself is the general contracting side of the house: remodels, additions, lofts, studios and retail across Seattle. The site had to show the craft without a word of contractor boilerplate, so the work does the talking.

Every project photo renders as a live technical drawing, with edge linework, hatching and a drafting grid, then develops into the photograph as you scroll or hover.

The home page builds the BBS house mark in 3D as you scroll: a site grid, then linework, then wall framing, then the finished house lit at night.
